Wild Magnolia and the Lost Shell

Hello bright sky. Hello warm sun. Hello soft sand. Hello blue sea. Wild Magnolia is a small mermaid. She lives by the water on a sunny island. She has long hair that flows like petals. She has a gentle smile and curious eyes. She loves a shiny red seashell. She loves its smooth shape and bright color. She plays with the shell all day. She calls it her lucky treasure. One morning Wild Magnolia wakes early. She reaches for her red shell. But the shell is gone. She feels sad and worried. She calls her friend Princess Lily.

Princess Lily is kind and brave. She lives in a little cottage by the palm trees. She wears a flower crown and a soft blue dress. She carries a small lantern that glows at night. Princess Lily hears Wild Magnolia. She hurries to the water. She holds Wild Magnolia’s hand. She says I will help you. Wild Magnolia nods and smiles a little. Together they walk across warm sand. They walk past tall palm trees and soft grass. They walk to a tide pool full of tiny fish. They look under smooth rocks. They look near green seaweed. They look inside small crab homes. They look near a fallen coconut.

As they search they meet a pirate. The pirate has a tall hat and a striped shirt. He has a wooden leg and a bright red parrot on his shoulder. The parrot says squawk and waves its wing. The pirate says Ahoy, little friends. Are you looking for a shell? Wild Magnolia says Yes, my red shell is lost. The pirate tilts his head and peers at them. He says I found a shell by my boat. Would you like to see? He holds up a blue shell. Princess Lily says Thank you, kind pirate, but we need a red one. The pirate nods. He says I will keep watch. Let me know if you need help. He taps his foot on the deck and smiles.

Wild Magnolia and Princess Lily continue their search. The sun is warm and the breeze is soft. Little fish swim by and say hello. A crab waves a claw. A bird sings overhead. They pause and listen. They hum a soft tune. The tune sounds like waves. The waves invite them on. They follow the sound of the sea. They count one shell. They count two shells. They count three shells. They count four shells. They count five shells. They cannot find the red one yet. They feel tired. They feel hope.

Suddenly Princess Lily spots a glint. She points to a small pool of water near a mossy rock. Wild Magnolia kneels and parts the green seaweed with her hand. She feels something smooth and bright. She lifts her hand and holds the red shell! Her eyes light up with joy. She hugs the shell close. Princess Lily claps and laughs. The pirate calls out Well done! The parrot flaps its wings and cries bravo.

They all sit by the water. They share juicy fruit and cool water. They laugh and hum a happy tune. The sky turns pink and orange as the sun sets. Wild Magnolia holds her red shell tight. She feels safe, loved, and full of joy.

The sea is kind and calm. The sea is blue and bright. The sea is home for Wild Magnolia. The sea is song and dance. The sea is soft. The sea is deep. The sea is safe. The sea is friend. The sea is fun. The sea is warm.
