The Sorceress appears. She is tall and dark. She wears a violet cloak. She holds a long wand. Her eyes shine red. She laughs in a low voice. She says, “Time stays still. You cannot change this.” Ms. Raya Marleen frowns.
The Samurai stands tall. He says, “We will help you.” The Sorceress waves her wand. Snow swirls like a storm. The big clock stops at twelve o’clock. A cold wind blows at their faces. Ms. Raya Marleen shivers. The Samurai moves close. He lights the torch. Light glows red and warm.
Ms. Raya Marleen takes a deep breath. She lifts her Time Key. The key glows blue and bright. She steps forward. The Sorceress raises her wand again. But the Samurai steps in. He says, “No. We will not give up.” He moves the torch near the key.
The light grows bright. It shines on the ice. The ice cracks. It makes a small crack in the big clock face. A tiny tick sounds. The clock hand moves once. Then it moves again. Tick. Tick. Time is moving again. The Sorceress gasps.
She looks shocked. Then her eyes soften. She steps back. She drops her wand. The ice melts away. The clock runs free. Time flows like a river. Snow turns to water. The sky is blue again. The sun shines bright. Birds sing. Flowers bloom.
Ms. Raya Marleen smiles. She gives the Samurai a small star. The star glows warm. The Samurai holds it and bows. The Sorceress claps her hands. She gives Ms. Raya Marleen a golden hourglass. It glows gold and safe. They all hold hands. They laugh. Time is free. The end.
