Ezra the astronaut is brave and kind. Ezra lives in a big secret base on Earth. His base has bright blue lights and soft white walls. Ezra wears a big white space suit and a shiny helmet. Lion is Ezra’s best friend and gentle helper. Lion is small, soft, and has a golden mane. Lion loves to play and go on adventures with Ezra. One day, Ezra needs a special star key for his rocket. The star key is tiny and shiny like a little star. Ezra checks his pocket and does not find the key. Lion looks under a soft blue pillow and finds nothing. They search near a red box that holds space tools. They search by a silver crate that holds star maps. They search under a green mat that feels soft. The key is still lost somewhere in the base. Ezra feels a bit sad and sighs softly. Lion gently nuzzles Ezra to say it is okay. Ezra smiles and says, Let us search again together. Just then the Rebel Leader appears at the door. The Rebel Leader wears a tall hat and a frown. He wants the star key for his own rocket plans. He says, Give me the key, little astronaut. Ezra stands strong and says, No, this key is mine. Lion roars a soft roar to help Ezra feel brave. The Rebel Leader looks surprised to see Lion roar. He steps back and frowns at his own small fear. Ezra kneels and whispers, Lion, let us keep looking. The Rebel Leader turns and walks away slowly. Ezra and Lion breathe out and feel safe again. They search by a shiny silver lamp on a table. They search inside a clear glass jar with buttons. They search on a blue shelf beside a small plant. They still do not see the tiny star key anywhere. Ezra feels tired but holds Lion’s paw and smiles. Lion gives a gentle purr and wags his tail slowly. Ezra hears a soft jingling noise from above. He looks up toward a tall shelf in the corner. A small shiny shape glints under a bright light. Ezra asks, Lion, can you jump up to get it? Lion leaps high and taps the tiny object gently. The shiny star key tilts and falls softly in his paw. Lion lands and holds the key in his soft paw. Ezra claps and says, You did it, my brave friend. Lion purrs and nuzzles Ezra with a warm hug. Ezra takes the key and feels very happy inside. He whistles a soft tune that sounds like a lullaby. The base feels warm and cozy with blue gentle lights. Ezra walks to his big silver rocket with Lion. He fits the star key into a small golden lock. The rocket door opens with a friendly gentle click. Ezra and Lion step inside and wave to the base. The rocket seats are soft and hold them safely. Ezra buckles his seat belt and nods to Lion. The engines hum in a calm gentle melody. The rocket lifts up slowly into the open sky. Ezra and Lion watch the walls of the base below. They see small lights and doors grow small and bright. The rocket goes higher, into a soft blue sky. Ezra says, We did it, Lion, our adventure is fun. Lion purrs and says, Meow, which means yes with joy.
