Wizard Bryce is in a soft, green forest. He walks on moss. He hears a bird sing. He sees blue sky past tall trees. He smells sweet pine. He feels warm sun on his hat. He feels calm and safe.
Wizard Bryce has a red hat. He loves his red hat. One morning Bryce wakes and his hat is gone. He looks by a log. He looks by a rock. He looks by a tree. He looks by a flower. He cannot find his red hat. Bryce feels sad. He wants his hat back.
Bryce needs help. He meets Blacksmith by a big stone. Blacksmith is strong and kind. He says, "I will help." Blacksmith asks Bryce, "Where did you last see your hat?" Bryce says, "I wore it by the pond." Blacksmith nods. They walk on soft grass.
They meet Guardian Spirit near a pond. Guardian Spirit is gentle and bright. She glows like moonlight. She hums a soft tune. She says, "I will help too." A friendly frog hops on a leaf. The frog croaks, "I saw the red hat near the cave." Guardian Spirit points the way.
They go on. The forest is full of tall ferns. Small mushrooms glow at night. Tiny insects hum around. A blue bird chirps from a branch. Bryce smiles. He holds Blacksmith’s hand and Guardian Spirit’s glow lights his path.
They meet Sorcerer at a broken bridge. Sorcerer is calm and wise. He wears purple robes and holds a wand. He says, "I will join you." Sorcerer taps his wand. He makes a small light. They cross the bridge safely.
They reach a dark cave. Bryce feels a chill. Blacksmith holds a torch. Sorcerer lights the way. Guardian Spirit glows softly. Inside the cave a Living Shadow stands. The Living Shadow is shy. It holds the red hat in its hand.
Bryce steps forward. He says, "My hat, please." The Living Shadow moans. It shakes and drops the hat. Bryce runs and hugs his red hat. He feels joy. He laughs and claps his hands.
Blacksmith hammers a small bell. Sorcerer taps his wand and makes sparkles. Guardian Spirit sings a happy song. Bryce joins and hops in a circle. The red hat shines bright again.
They leave the cave. Sun beams warm their faces. Bryce wears his red hat again. He thanks each friend. He gives Blacksmith a small key. He gives Sorcerer a leaf charm. He gives Guardian Spirit a dewdrop gem.
They all dance in the soft green forest. Birds fly above. Butterflies dance around flowers. Bryce spins and laughs. He feels happy and loved.
Wizard Bryce is home by a warm fire. He holds his red hat close. He feels safe. He sleeps with a smile. He dreams of kind friends and bright days in the Enchanted Forest.
