Bubbles is a little mermaid. She lives in a bright blue sea. Every morning she greets the sun. She sings a happy song. Bubbles swims among the waves. She plays with tiny fish. She watches them dart and hide. She blows small bubbles. The bubbles pop gently. Bubbles laughs with joy.
One day Bubbles sees a big ship. It floats on the water. The ship is white with red stripes. Bubbles swims closer. She lifts her head out of the water. She sees a wooden deck. She feels curious. She taps the side. It is smooth and cool. She hears footsteps. Bubbles hides behind a big rope.
Soon she sees Queen Coral. The Queen wears a tall hat and a golden crown. Her soft dress is sky blue. She smiles at Bubbles. Bubbles waves her tail. The Queen says, “Hello, little mermaid.” Bubbles says, “Hello, Your Majesty.”

Soft beams of light shine through cracks. Bubbles sees little sand piles. She sees a hidden school of fish. She sees a small crab scuttle by.
She swims around a barrel. Then she swims by an anchor. She sees nothing. She feels a tiny shiver. She takes a deep breath. She sings a song to feel brave. “La la la.” Then she hears a gentle rumble.
Bubbles stops. She looks around. From the seaweed, a small dragon appears. The dragon is green and gold. It has tiny wings. It is not scary. It blinks big eyes. Bubbles feels a little afraid. She says, “Hello, Dragon.” The dragon tilts its head. It says softly, “Hello, Mermaid.”
Bubbles asks, “Have you seen a shell crown?” The dragon shakes its head. It says, “No, but I will help you look.” Bubbles smiles. Together they search. The dragon glows a soft light with its tail. Bubbles holds her tail tight. The light shines on a pile of sand.
They see the shell crown. It glints like tiny stars. Bubbles picks it up. She gasps, “I found it!” The dragon nods happily. Bubbles thanks the dragon. They swim up to the ship deck.
Queen Coral waits. She sees Bubbles and the dragon. Bubbles holds out the crown. The Queen gasps. “My crown!” she cries. She places it on her head. It fits like magic. The Queen claps her hands. “Thank you, Bubbles! Thank you, Dragon!”
She gives Bubbles a shiny golden star. She gives the dragon a bright pearl. Bubbles and the dragon clap with glee. They feel proud. The Queen waves goodbye. Bubbles waves back.
Bubbles swims home under the waves. She feels happy and brave. She sings her song one more time. She plays with her friends among the corals. That night, Bubbles falls asleep. She dreams of more kind adventures. The end.
