Gavin is a little boy who lives by the sea. Every morning, he wakes and smiles at the waves. In his hand he holds Toy, a soft fish-shaped friend. Toy is bright blue and very gentle. Gavin and Toy play on the sand. They laugh and build small sand shells with their tiny hands.
One day, as the sun rises, Gavin hears a gentle glow from the water. He looks at Toy with wide eyes. Toy wobbles happily. Gavin tiptoes closer. The water sparkles under his toes. He sees a small door made of shells under a gentle wave. The door has pearls around its edges. Above it, in soft letters, it says “Atlantis.”
Gavin feels his heart bump. He holds Toy tight. Toy seems brave. Gavin closes his eyes and whispers, “Shall we?” Toy nods. Gavin steps into the water. The door opens with a soft creak. A trail of bubbles floats around them.
Inside, Atlantis is calm and bright. Walls shine with shells and pearls. Tiny fish swim close and glow. Sand paths curve around columns made of pink coral. Gavin and Toy explore with gentle steps. Toy glows when he is happy. Gavin glows too.
They follow a pale light to a wide hall. At the center stands a Giant. The Giant is tall and kind. He holds a glowing shell in his large hands. The shell shines like moonlight. Gavin’s mouth opens. He points at the shell and breathes, “Please.”
The Giant’s voice echoes softly. “To earn this shell, little one, please find my lost pearl. It fell near the blue coral by the tower.” Gavin nods. He knows he must help.
Gavin and Toy leave the hall and walk along more glowing paths. They reach the coral tower. Blue coral towers swirl around them. Soft fish hide behind branches. Gavin looks carefully. He sees a small pearl shining under a coral branch. He reaches and lifts it gently. The pearl is smooth and pale. It glows in his palm.
With the pearl held tight, Gavin and Toy hurry back to the Giant’s hall. The Giant stands with patient eyes. Gavin offers the pearl. The Giant smiles kindly. He lifts the glowing shell and sets it into Gavin’s small hands. Gavin feels its warmth. Toy wiggles with joy.
Gavin thanks the Giant with a shy wave. The Giant waves back with a gentle rumble. Bubbles swirl around them. Gavin and Toy step back through the shell door. The door closes softly behind them.
Outside, the sun is lower in the sky. Gavin holds the shell close. It glows under his chin. Toy glows too. Together they walk up the sandy shore. Gavin thinks of his mother. He cannot wait to show her the gift.
At home, Gavin finds his mother waiting by the window. She gasps in wonder when she sees the shell. It glows like a little moon in her hand. She hugs Gavin and Toy tight. Gavin feels warm inside.
That night, Gavin places Toy beside his pillow. He sets the shining shell on his bedside table. The shell glows softly in the dark. Toy glows too. Gavin yawns and whispers, “Thank you, Toy.” He closes his eyes. The gentle glow guides him to sweet dreams of Atlantis, of bubbles and pearls, and of the kind Giant who gave them a shining treasure.
Gavin sleeps with a smile. Toy stays close. The glowing shell keeps them safe and happy. Tomorrow will bring new play, new smiles, and new gentle adventures by the sea.
