Shado is a kind small girl who loves her bright magic wand. Shado lives near a wee quiet place called the Hidden Oasis. She has two truly dear friends called Sage and Spellcaster. Sage is a soft very wise old cat who purrs and helps Shado. Spellcaster is a fairy with sparkly wings and a fun giggle. One bright day Shado lost a small shiny shell by the ponds. She felt so very sad and wished to find her shell at once. Sage sat down by Shado and nudged her hand with gentle paws. "Do not cry," Sage purred softly. Spellcaster flew close and flapped her wings. "We will help you," said the friendly fairy. Shado smiled and felt hope. The three friends set off on a tiny path that led through soft green grass. They walked past a small rock and a bright flower. Soft birds sang overhead. Shado held Sage’s paw and Spellcaster landed on her shoulder. They arrived at a wooden bridge over a clear stream. Shado looked down into the water. She saw shiny stones but no shell. She knelt and felt the cool air touch her face. Spellcaster shone a light from her wand and pointed to a bright shell on a rock by the stream. "There it is!" cried Shado. She reached gently and felt the smooth shell in her hand. Sage and Spellcaster cheered. They danced in a small circle of joy. Together they went back along the path. The sun shone warm on their backs. Shado felt happy and proud. Sage looked at her with kind eyes. Spellcaster gave a little laugh. Soon they returned to the Hidden Oasis by the soft pond. Shado placed the shell on a small shelf in her home. She held it close and whispered, "Thank you, my friends." Sage purred and Spellcaster landed on the shelf next to the shell. Shado’s heart felt full of love. The sky turned pink and orange as the day closed. Shado tucked in her wand and shell before bed. Sage curled up at her feet and Spellcaster settled on her pillow. Shado closed her eyes and felt safe. She dreamed of new fun with her friends in the Hidden Oasis. The next morning Shado woke with a bright smile. She hugged Sage and Spellcaster.
